New York is well known for its pricey real estate and those who can afford it ante up to live in the more desirable parts of town. However, regardless of how desirable the neighborhood there is a point where value and cost collide. In the case of influenza the value of access to vaccine far exceeds the human cost in terms morbidity and mortality.
